Students

After many different studies, it is proven that students that sleep more have better grades. A lack of sleep can increase mental health issues and increase stress. When taking classes, having a good sleep schedule leads to better test taking. While in school it is important to go to bed early, limit your naps, and study somewhere other than your bed. Lastly, absolutely no all-nighters before tests! Students who do not sleep before tests are more likely to have a lower GPA than those who sleep before tests.

Work from Home

People are still able to work from the comfort of their own home going into the new year. While working at home in order to be successful you should implement better sleep habits. Make simple changes like avoiding caffeine after lunch. Do not work from your bed and do not nap after you are done with work. When your alarm goes off, get out of bed and continue to get out of bed at an early time on the weekends as well. These small changes will set you up for a good night’s sleep and a more productive day.

Work from The Office

Sleeping enough at night makes you a happier and more efficient worker. When you work eight hours when you get home you can easily get overwhelmed by all of the daily chores you need to do. It is essential that you assign certain chores on certain days. For example, every Tuesday and Thursday you should do one load of laundry. Go out to eat on Fridays and grocery shop on Sundays. In order to get better sleep, you need to fix your sleep schedule.

How Do You Fix Your Sleep Schedule?

Set a routine. Each night before bed have a small snack, that way you are not hungry as you fall asleep. Go to bed early! Students and adults need at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night. Make sure that before bed you take at least 15 minutes off of your phone or computer in order to slow down.
