With school back in session, many parents are wondering how to break bad sleep habits established in the summer. Our own, Dr. Nassar, was featured on WJXT to explain just that!
Dr. Nassar recommends gradually adjusting your child’s bedtime and rise times a couple weeks before schools starts. It is also important to be aware of how much sleep your child needs, based on age. Children and adults react differently to insufficient sleep. Acting out, hyperactive, and inattentive behavior are all signs that your child may not be getting enough sleep.
